The Fully Alive Holistic Life Assessment - Planning workshop

If we want a full and deeply satisfying life we must be intentional! What we dont know definitely CAN hurt us, thus it is important to be aware of the different major arenas of our life and be intentional to grow.

 

Taking the time to reflect and be self aware through consistent assessment, when done with compassion, patience, and honesty, is not only necessary but transformative.

 

Rate yourself in your overall sense in these different arenas.  Then take some time to write a little description on why you rated yourself the way you did.  

Don’t get caught up and stressed in the exact verbiage that describes each area.  Your life is unique and complex .  Just score your self according to your overall sense in these arenas at the end of each week and month.

I feel connected deeply on a consistent basis and full of genuine appreciation that's expressed to my spouse or significant other. I am patient, kind, respectful, and attentive to my spouses needs and desires. I am quick to take ownership of my faults and attitudes and am quick to apologize instead of pointing the finger. I hold no record of wrongs and i make time to add value to this relationship.

FAMILY

 

 

I am present and available to my family. I am creating a safe environment where deep, meaningful, and playful connection can happen. It is evident that I love my family and am doing my best for them. I am patient, compassionate, and forgiving. I am adding value to them and creating space to develop our family experience at home and in the life/mission of the Church; We are a family on mission. 

If having children: All the above mentioned, and  I discipline and train my children in love and gentleness and not in anger. I speak words of life, purpose, and affirmation daily. I am actively preparing them for adulthood, authentic faith, and life.

spend enough time with friends/peers and am intentional to be investing in others either younger or less experienced than me. My inner circle of friends are life giving, supportive, and help me grow. They give me deep connection as well as the recreation needed to stay balanced. I am a life giving supportive friend who is authentic, sincere, and available.

I have clarity in my unique God given purpose, mission, and direction. I feel fulfilled in my work and contribution to both my community, those in need around me, and in the world. I make time to do things I love and enjoy. I plan trips, special occasions, mini adventures, and nights out, to keep life “spicy” and new. I laugh and play and make time for the hobbies or recreation I enjoy that energize me. I take time to rest and unplug. I take interest & risks in trying new things for the sake of life experience and diversity.

SPIRIT/FAITH/HOPE

 

I live from the core of who I am - my beliefs and actions are congruent. I live with deep conviction and hope of the future. My values and faith guide my every decision in my daily life. I take time to yield my will to God and make room for the Spirits leadership in my life. I trust that the blessings and security of my life is more than my best efforts but a result of Gods grace and mercy. I am free from worry about the basic material needs of my life, I trust I will be provided for as I do the right thing. I see the bigger picture and know that there is more to life then just the here and now.
