Redeemed Reason

Listen, I wanted to drop you a note on redeemed reason...

I think it's important to understand that human reason or the rational mind that's un-submitted to the spirit is antagonistic and at enmity to the spirit.  So we need to learn to think and reason with a spiritual mind.

The wisdom of God and the ways of God are often  contrary to regular human logic and even considered foolish, and so spiritual things (and all things are spiritual when it comes to how we relate to them) must be discerned by the spirit.

We have to learn to live and operate and see things from a supernatural perspective; the mind of Christ is meant to be the genius and intelligence with operate and live from. Otherwise we may find ourselves fighting against  or resisting the will and plan of God to our own hurt.  This is so critical in this hour and it's critical to growing in maturity!

We have to understand that faith is the confidence of what we hope for and the evidence or assurance of what we do not see.  The scriptures teach us that it's by faith that we understand that the universe was formed at God's command, so that what is seen was not made out of what was visible.  (Hebrews 11:1-3)

We are meant to live by faith and not by sight....think about that....to actually live and navigate your daily life around what is unseen....by a knowing and assurance in our heart with no physical evidence at the present time....

It's your conviction and confidence that is the evidence.   It may seem foolish to some and to natural reason, but faith is a superior medium of reason that every christian, and really humanity, is meant to live by.

This faith is tangible and real and causes us to act and speak and make decisions that are rooted in this unseen but assured hope of truth. Pretty amazing!  This is spiritual perception and a form of spiritual technology that lays hold of what is and what will be.

This type of faith in the nature of God and the word of God is critical to our lives, in fact, to be the reality of our lives......but all the more what is very much needed in this hour!  

Culture is laden with systemic deception, promotions of propaganda, and false narratives, and so it is essential to have keen insight and discernment and to be tuned into what the Holy Spirit is saying.  We cannot afford to live by our natural senses nor lean on our own understanding...there is too much noise and wicked sophistication in the plots of men and the spiritual powers at play.

The way we cut through this is by tuning in to a superior wisdom in christ that we access by a redeemed consciousness through faith.

Check this out for a moment......."By faith Abraham, when God tested him, offered Isaac as a sacrifice.  He who had embraced the promises was about to sacrifice his one and only son, even though God had had said to him, "It is through Isaac that your offspring will be reckoned" Abraham reasoned that God could even raise the dead, and so in a manner of speaking he did receive Isaac back from death." Hebews 11:17-19

This is redeemed reasoning....a rationality that is rooted in the power, nature, and ability of God!!  This is a supernatural mindset and faith in action.

Sooooooo good right!!?

Quick questions

• So the call to you and me to to reassess how we live our lives, make our decisions, come to our conclusions....

• Are you holding on to your opinions and biases rooted in your own rationality or are you accessing the word of the Lord and truth by a redeemed rationality accessed by faith through intimacy with God?

• Do you live by faith and unseen realties or do you simply live reactionary to external noise?
