I was at a friend's wedding recently. Weddings are so beautiful. Weddings are so powerful. They are prophetic pictures. They open a window into the very heart of God.
You watch two worlds collide with intense devotion. Two hearts putting away and dying to every other lover, every other attachment, and giving themselves completely, wholeheartedly, to the one their soul loves.
And then I watched him dance with his bride for the first time. He was locked in on her. The intensity of his passion. His love. His commitment. His singleness of gaze.
Friends, that is a prophetic plumb line. That is an invitation into exactly what God wants for you and me with Him.
We are the bride of Christ. We are His inheritance. We are His reward. We are the apple of His eye. He is fiercely committed to us, fiercely ...
